Manic Pixie Dream, a coffee roaster based in Niagara, Ontario, entrusted me with the task of crafting their entire brand identity, aligned with their fervent commitment to sourcing the finest, in-season coffee from around the world. Inspired by their unwavering pursuit of quality, flavor, and distinct character, I crafted a vibrant brand that intricately narrates the fascinating story behind their exceptional coffee.
Reminiscent of the coffee itself, the product packaging design reveals a diverse blend of cultural and environmental components of each distinctive country of origin.
Each label design features colors, elements, and textures at their rawest form experienced by the founders’ travels to coffee growing regions across the world.
Fortunate to be integral to this project from its inception, I led the creative direction of Manic Pixie Dream Coffee alongside the founders, contributing to the brand's continual growth and evolution.
Engaged in brainstorming sessions, branding strategies, marketing initiatives, crafting custom illustrations, and offering crucial support in label printing and production, my unwavering dedication has played a pivotal role in establishing Manic Pixie Dream Coffee as one of the most distinctive coffee roasters in Canada.
Highlighted aspects of my contribution to the project include:
• Crafting a comprehensive brand identity encompassing logo design and other essential branding elements.
• Conceptualizing and executing the creative concept for packaging, labels, and bags, ensuring visually cohesive and compelling representation.
• Producing custom illustrations that define a unique brand style, lending a distinct visual language to the packaging artwork.
• Designing an array of marketing collateral, spanning both digital and print mediums.
• Redesigning the Manic Pixie Dream Coffee website, resulting in increased conversions and an enhanced online presence.
